She received her doctorate in international journalism from Communication University of China in 2017. Then, she did post-doctorate work in drama and film at the same institution. Since December 2019, she is a visiting scholar at the University of Southern California. Her major research interests are international issues and news reports, international news and diplomacy, visual forms of film and television dramas and cross-cultural communication.
She took the lead in participating in the National Social Science Fund Project Research on the Mechanism of the Visual Forms of TV Drama Dissemination, and the Jiangsu Provincial Social Science Fund Project Research on the Law of Information Dissemination from the Perspective of Time and Space. She has successively published more than 10 papers in academic journals such as China Television, Contemporary TV, International Communications and News Front.
