Although a painter of wildlife, landscape, and native America by preference – several of his wildlife portraits are in the collections of some of our western national parks. Mr. Kachmor occasionally enjoys experimenting with fantasy art and creatures of the imagination. His “RIIB D-MEN” emerged from the suggestion of his own children, that he create a series of superheroes and villains combining human torsos with animal heads and appendages.
More recently, accidental ink spills and blotted images, combined with collage technique, gave birth to his most unusual creatures of fantasy. Don Kachmor’s “Animal and Artvarx” inhabit the pages of “From Outta Nowhere,” introducing us to their world of “Living and Being in Peaceful Coexistence,” while striving to stir the imagination of young readers and inspire their creativity.lihat lebih sedikit
