I often tell stories as a way of keeping their attention because, teaching ancient history to 11 and 12 year olds can be challenging at best. I began telling this story to them a few years ago so that they could connect with the hunter gatherers. With their unending encouragement I finally wrote the story out, and now to their delight it’s a book that they can enjoy for years to come.
