When he was growing up, his father was a traditional Chinese medical doctor in China. Currently his sister has an Oriental medical practice in Taiwan. Dr. Huang came to Hawaii in 1989 specifically to use his Chinese medical skills. He is a Hawaii Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbologist and is also licensed in Florida State. When hes not seeing patients he is an instructor in Oriental Medicine at a local medical school.
