Cindy Placide is a three-time author and poet of Caribbean descent. She was born on the beautiful island of St. Lucia and has always had a passion for writing. However, she has also faced many challenges in her life, including feeling displaced and like she didn't fit in. Despite these adversities, she has always tried to find meaning in her life.
After several tragedies and attempts on her life, Cindy decided to dedicate her life to helping others. She is now a motivational speaker and author who encourages others to overcome their challenges and find purpose in life. Cindy is a resilient, ambitious, and compassionate person who is driven by her faith, love for God, her children and for others.
She is an advocate for Mental Health and Suicide prevention, Autism among a few others and seeks to continue bringing awareness to stigmas plaguing our society. Her goal is to transform lives one conversation, one story at a time.
