April’s stories are dark, psychological and deal with some very significant problems that the protagonist/ antagonist must deal with. April creates a protagonist/ antagonist that is realistic and flawed. Often dealing with corruption, love, sex, hate, and emotional dysfunction, April’s characters do not always find all the answers they are looking for.
