He holds the degrees of B.A. (Law) from the University of Stellenbosch, Management Development Programme for Real Estate Practitioners from the UNISA, Master of Economics from the University of Cape Town and a PhD. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of the Free State.
He has served as a founding member of the SA Council for Valuers, the National Executive of the Institute of Valuers and the board of directors of the Institute of Property Practitioners. He has lectured in Property Valuation at the University of Stellenbosch and the Cape Technikon and has appeared as an expert witness in numerous Supreme Court matters. He wrote and published books on Municipal Valuations in the Cape Province in 1980 and on Property Valuations in South Africa in 1983 which was updated in 1992.lihat lebih sedikit
