During that time, he taught pharmacology and conducted a self-sustaining program in pharmacology research, both clinical research and laboratory research. He received both numerous teaching and research awards. He served on editorial boards of several refereed scientific journals and have authored or coauthored approximately 130 scientific papers. The L. A. Journal is about a personal journey and not really at all about professional life.
