public school district for about forty years in a variety of positions. Her
hobbies include painting, traveling, and being a jazz musician’s wife. After
years of seeing how things could change for the better for students within
a public school district in the United States, she started writing about the
absurdities in practices she found in and throughout the system. This book
is a collection of essays written over time spent in the public schools.
