Marcia attended Kellits Junior Secondary School. Aged seventeen, she left Jamaica to live with her father and family in Britain. Later, she studied at South Bank University and gained a BA (hons) and PGCE (early years). She worked as a primary teacher for almost twelve years. Marcia has two beloved sons, Ebije and Oche.
