All my life, as far back as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of becoming a writer. Because of the many people who have crossed my path in life, I have grown to be the individual I am today. My journey through life, in many ways, is what can be seen as unfair, unjust, lonely, or maybe just hard. I see it as being blessed. Blessed with the knowledge of God, and the strength to find comfort, peace, and joy in ways many of us could not. I know what it is like to be beaten, abused, raped, violated, harassed, neglected, abandoned, betrayed, or just needing to be loved. To me life is a journey; we may not have chosen the road in front of us, but we are responsible for the path taken to reach the end of that road. Each day of my life I find comfort in helping others. Help comes in many different forms. My thought is that if I can find some way to brighten someone’s day, maybe mine will become brighter too. One of my favorite poems is the one titled “I Am” because it speaks of acceptance without change because I love myself just the way I am.lihat lebih sedikit
