Different but oh so similar, the same goes for neighborhoods. Poverty, wealth, hard workers and schemers the same was in all hoods. Leaving north Florida at 4 months old it was the streets of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach that I was tested on. Hard work, loyalty, persistence, spirituality, and family was what was instilled in me and along with God it’s what protected me. After graduating from High School, just like most of us inner city children, I fell prey to the streets and that’s when the stories began, when the movies start recording, and lo and behold I was the main character.
