She lived life as the wife of a carrier military man. JoAnn has lived and traveled throughout the world. Raised five children, and is now a proud grandmother, and great grandmother. As a teen-ager she wrote a weekly column in the Los Angles limes called "Teen Talk" under Hedda Hopper's byline. That's when she realized she wanted to write for ever.
