She lived on a farm where her father did mixed farming and taught her how to love all animals especially cats They were barn cats but always ended up in the house. Joan graduated high school and went into nursing in Owen Sound which she had a passion for and worked in a nursing home for 30 years.She married her husband of 30 years and put together a blended family of 3 boys. They always had cats and dogs in the family. As the boys grew up and moved away Joan and her husband moved to Collingwood as she retired from nursing and Frank was working in Collingwood. Her oldest son Christopher moved to Barrie and adopted Mr. Gillie.While he was getting established Mr. Gillie came to live with her for awhile and then moved back to the city for 2 years.He again moved back to Joan’s house where the stories started.Joan is a new writer with a great imagination.lihat lebih sedikit
