At the age of 2 he moved to Kearney, Neb. Spending his early years in the farming community he moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma for his teenage years. After receiving his B.A. degree in Fine Art and Business from Central State University, he enlisted in the US Coast Guard and was sent to Groton Conn. for electronic training. Having served 4 years 1966 to 1970 he returned to Central State University, Edmond, Okla. for a Master’s Degree in Education. He started his teaching career in Hanna, Wyoming and after 4 years moved to Omaha, Nebraska to complete 17 at Ralston High School and 6 years teaching elementary art. He then accepted a position for 12 years at Metropolitan Community College. From the College he completed his teaching career. He was listed in the “Outstanding Secondary Educators of America” in 1974 and listed in Who’s Who Among American’s Teacher 1998. He is listed in Who's Who Among Executives -&- Professionals for 2014. He holds membership in the Boy Scouts and received his Eagle badge and Silver Beaver along with course director of a wood badge course with four beads. He is a Past Commander of the Knights Templar for York Rite and is a 33 degree Scottish rite Mason as well as a Shriner. He received honorable mention in the Teacher In space program for Nebraska. He is the author of “A Yellowstone savage from Fishing Bridge”. He is presently serving as the Nebraska State Coordinator for Mobile Robotics Competition, SkillsUSA. He is married with 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He resides in Omaha, Nebraska.lihat lebih sedikit
