Born in Nigeria, she moved to the United States at the age of sixteen after briefly living in the United Kingdom. Michelle has always had a passion for writing, and began her blog As The Spirit Leads in 2012 which has touched the lives of people across the world. She received her call to begin writing her book shortly after, when God showed her a dream concerning His plans to use her words to touch peoples lives.
