Timothy G. Rees was born in 1952 and was reared in eastern Tennessee in the city of Bristol. Rees was born in 1952 and was reared in eastern Tennessee in the city of Bristol. An aspiring writer at a young age, Tim received recognition from the Daughters of the American Revolution for an award-winning essay during his senior year of high school. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974 and has worked 26 years in the utility, water treatment and oil industries in the United States and overseas. At present, he is employed by a major international oil company where he utilizes his writing talents producing technical reports. In addition, Tim has written articles for internal corporate publications.
