From it's idea when he was only 16 to when he started to write it in his mid 50's. It took him another 3 years, (he only wrote early in the morning before his wife woke up and on his days off) to write and rewrite it to his satisfaction. It is his first story, fulfilling a life long dream of being a horror writer. But with a twist. He was tired of those "happy endings" where the good guy wins. So he decided to write stories without them.
His imagination and his love of horror stems from his childhood. From his Elementary School teacher reading Edgar Allen Poe to the class, to his Art teacher telling ghost stories with the lights out, to his father telling scary stories right before he went to bed, to reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz.
His writing stems from a movie playing in his mind and he writes what he sees.lihat lebih sedikit
