I left school when I was fourteen and nine months. My mother died when I was fifteen, and I became pregnant at sixteen. I have five wonderful, fantastic children—four girls, one boy, and four grandchildren. I overcame a lot of life’s challenges with no formal education. I still secured senior positions and worked tirelessly for the communities.
