He was awarded the Eagle Scout Badge in 1962. In high school, he was a three-year varsity athlete in Swimming, which he expanded on by working with the Red Cross to teach Swimming to disabled children. After working over forty years for other people, William started his own business. For fun, he became involved in Community Theater, as well as becoming an award winning magician.
