My hope is that in sharing my story, they might have a better understanding of how life was from 1945 to 1963. It begins with the effects of World War II and ends during the conflict with Viet Nam. The struggles of prejudice, segregation, and poverty left a mark imbedded in my heart forever. These events molded who I am today.
