Curt taught biology, industrial arts, and physical education in the Eden Prairie School District from 1955 to 1969, and then he served as assistant principal from 1969 until retirement in 1986. Curt started the football program in 1957 and was head coach. In 1958, he started the track program and coached until 1969.
