I was born in Portsmouth, Virginia in the early 50’s. Growing up in the 50’s in a city such as Portsmouth whereas separation was prevalent was the normal thing during that period. After my senior year in high school I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years and found a large degree of racism. When I was discharged I started night classes and worked at a service station. While doing this I made application to the Fire Department in August 1978 and was hired and remained there for 23 years, after which I became a merchant marine and sailed the seas around the world. For six and a half years I was able to see many things in this world and after which I retired from sailing.
I have a strong belief in God, the creator, and each day I thank him for his blessings to me. Many things have happened for me and because of him I am the man that I am. Currently I am married to Brenda, my wife, of thirty years with seven children and nineteen grandchildren.
My hobbies include electric trains, video games and fast cars. Basketball is a favorite sport and I enjoy going to college and professional games. On occasion I like to travel and in the past have been to many countries around the world and seen many things.lihat lebih sedikit
