Since his retirement, he worked within the Security Industry and as a substitute Teacher in San Antonio, Texas focusing on Social Studies grades 8- 12, Texas history and religious literature.
Currently, he resides in Kerrville, Texas, and he is a frequent visitor to the shrine at the Alamo. His books are a compilation of stories gathered through oral tradition and known as the Chronicles of the Scattering.
