I was born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in King George, Virginia. I served in the United States Army for three years as an Intelligence Analyst All-Source. While in the military I volunteered my service for the children’s Special Olympics every year. I fell in love with helping children who must overcome life changing challenges and yet are so much happier than most of the world. I am a proud father of three beautiful daughters. One of my daughters was the inspiration to my first book. Ryleigh was three years old when she had a spinal cord injury and has overcome amazing obstacles. She fights to achieve what most would seem impossible and does it with a smile on her face every day.
