Sadly, throughout the years, many of JLs close family members and friends passed, creating a deep void within. JL also had her own personal health crisis, but as almost a miracle, she survived stage 4 Cancer. JLs inspiration for the MISSBENJ trilogy was her lost loves including her beloved dog Benji.
