Peter is an alumnus of Duke Divinity, having graduated with a Master of Divinity. He also holds a BS degree in Economics from Winston-Salem State University. From 1991 to 2014, Pastor Singletary served as a member of the North Carolina Conference and the Minnesota Conference before retiring from the ministry. From 2014 to 2020, Peter has worked with at-risk youth in the school system, and has also served as a domestic abuse counselor, and a workforce development specialist.
