By the time he was in his twenties, he was touring with traveling bands. Band’s, like marriages, don’t last forever. When necessary, he found work in sales, but only until he was able to put together a new band.
He left the Chicago area and settles in Battle Creek, Michigan where he and his wife lived for sixteen years. They had two children together, a son and a daughter.
