It all started when my husband John passed away. I made a bucket list there were things I wanted to do that I couldn’t before. I wanted to go to Arizona to see my son, done. I wanted to go to San Diego to see the ship that my father sailed, done. I wanted to go to Mexico, done. That was the first few things.
From 27 wishes now down to two things, find someone I could love with all my heart that was done. The last thing on my list was write a book, so as I kept trying it went into the garbage. It isn’t as easy as I had hoped it would be. I was working on a receiving dock when an idea started in my head so between vendors I start my first poem. It was all done by the time I left work. I don’t know where the idea came from but I was writing from my heart. Always and Forever started the book. Titled Poems and short story by Sharon D. Vojtko.
