She enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, and entertaining. She enjoys playing golf in Cornwall. Having trained as a hairdresser and worked for nearly twenty years, she decided to retrain in childcare and then at the age of nearly fifty get a degree and qualify as a lecturer and assessor in a local FE college.
