regarded as “retarded” and having a low IQ , who
was also physically abused to a man of character,
strength, and perseverance. He overcame the overt
racism he faced and started many social programs
and organizations. “Only the Strong Survives” is a
fitting title to this man’s life and experience. His
story serves as an inspiration to those who face
