Delane Lloyd-Washington is a special education teacher for the Emanuel County School System. She teaches severe and profound students in kindergarten and first and second grades. She is a member of the Greater Saint James Missionary Baptist Church in Swainsboro, Georgia. She serves as a youth advisor and president of the choir. Delane met most of the people that inspired her poems at work, in church, and in the small town of Swainsboro where she resides. Some of her poems were inspired by her students.
Delane is the mother of two, Tony and Lisa, and is the grandmother of six—Jasmine, Breonia, Anthony, Dashaun, Michael, and Nicholas. Writing poems has become an outlet for the good and not so good times and events that she has shared and continues to share with her family, friends, church members, and coworkers.lihat lebih sedikit
