He was a moderately successful student athlete, and he played centerfield for a championship baseball team at Westwood High School in1980. He graduated from Hofstra University in 1984 with a degree in communication arts. He served as a television producer for Major League Baseball for thirty years. He recently established his own production company, Wheel Barrow Productions. He still lives nearby his family and many childhood friends.
