Willis was born in Frederick County, Maryland, in April 1959, as one of six children. Her parents encouraged each child to embrace education, the arts, movies, and music. They made a priority of having books, movies, and music available in the home. Therefore, as a young girl she discovered her passion for books and a love of research. After college, in 1982, she married her high school sweetheart, Hammond, and had her only daughter, Carmen. She began her career in corporate America in the health, computer, and the mortgage industries. The mortgage industry led her to become a licensed mortgage loan consultant, a private contractor in mortgage processing, and an underwriter in Maryland and the District of Columbia. However, she continued to love books and fulfilled one of her life dreams when she wrote The Paiges of Life. Currently she spends her time writing, and enjoying her grandchildren.lihat lebih sedikit
