Russell holds a Bachelor of Integrated Studies degree from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. She has been creating stories since she was very young—some before she could even write. Her first coauthored book, “I Like Rocks,” was published in 2011. Tally has also been an enthusiastic horse lover as long as she could remember. She started therapeutic horseback riding at the age of four and has been hooked ever since. This project combines two of her greatest joys, horses and creative writing.
