After retirement, he volunteered three spring semesters as an adjunct instructor at Alaska Christian College. He and his wife did short-term missions in Japan, Mozambique, and Russia as teachers assisting and encouraging their missionary friends. Marv is the dad of two daughters and two sons and grandpa to nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was caregiver and advocate for Janice as she progressed through the stages of Alzheimer’s disease until her death on June 5, 2019. Marv is an energetic ninety-year-old, who has a passion for encouraging the families who are and will encounter this degenerative disease.lihat lebih sedikit
