The novel is set in and around the author’s hometown of Charleston, South Carolina, America’s tourist destination. Although twice before published (2008/2011), this is his first novel. Steve served in the armed forces. He was airborne, ranger, and special forces qualified, serving both in Africa and Southeast Asia. He is a combat veteran. He is a sport aviator and an avid sailor with nearly eighty thousand miles under his keels. All these experiences he brings to his writing.
