As a trainor of apprentices for US ships, she had played a considerable role in the maintenance of the Pacific Fleet in the Philippines. She had also taught all field of science especially Chemistry in a school run by Columban Fathers. She also taught Natural Sciences and Geology to college students before she migrated to Australia.
Cynthia is blessed with an unassuming husband and two gifted and loved boys, one with a degree in Theology while the younger one has talents in computer programming. She has two grandchildren, Joseph and Mary named after the Holy Family’s St Joseph and Blessed Virgin Mary.
Cynthia is a teacher, training specialist, poetess, musical director, short story writer and novelist. Her wide range of interests is coupled with her extrovert and vivacious personality and at the same time a mildly introvert disposition at times.
In Australia, she had focused in the study of Theology and Biblical Studies. She had a flair for poems based on Scriptures and also for love poems. Most of her poems are composed at early dawn till early sunrise because she believes in the adage, “The early bird catches the worm.”
What more, her prayers inspired her to compose her poems full of emotion and love for God and for humanity. In total, she had composed about 150 poems and 100 short stories.
She is currently finishing a novel “Praise God Almighty” and hopefully will finalize another poetry book, Love Across the Oceans.
Cynthia's father was a professor of history and her mother is a midwife. She has three sisters, Charmine, Leah and Maruja ( who died in 2013) and Edwin who worked in Saudi Arabia.lihat lebih sedikit
