My father was an artist and my grandfather was a lic...lihat lebih banyakI was born in 1942 here on Long Island of Estonian Parents and grew up in Glen Head along with my two brothers and a sister and my Grandfather . My father was an artist and my grandfather was a licensed steam engineer. We had a treasured upbringing, being surrounded by many of my fathers paintings and my grandfather boat building skills. Our Estonian heritage with my grandparents being emigrants from that country and living in the house built by my grandfather in 1919, it seems a wanting challenge to write a book about this unique and blessed family. My mother saved every photograph (many thousands) my Father took and every family document along with photos dating back to the 1800s. Many people have encouraged me to put all of this history in to writing or otherwise it would all be lost. So here it is Memories from the Atticlihat lebih sedikit
