When she was five years old, she and her family immigrated to America and settled in the little town of Seaford, Delaware. Learning English while only speaking her native language at home was Saintfort’s biggest challenge. Growing up with depression, she turned to writing songs and poetry as an outlet her emotions. By the time she reached high school, Saintfort had started to write short stories. Then, in her junior year, she decided to start her very first novel, Mr.Black!
