A long-time vegetarian, he has walked the entire 2,179-mile Maine to Georgia Appalachian Trail twice: 4,217 miles.
He and his wife Kathy, long-time travelers, have visited 65 countries.
They currently reside on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, with their rescue-rhinoceros Dora.
