I was born in Lee County, right outside of Tupelo in Baldwyn, MS. I am the 9th of 11 children. My father, Dr. James Otis Lowe was a minister, and my mother Duree Price Lowe was a schoolteacher.

I joined the US Marines at 17. I was honorably discharged after 2 years of service; 13 months of which I was stationed overseas during the Vietnam Era.
I moved to Nashville and in 1981 I received my associate degree in science. I worked in the medical field for the next 25 years as a laboratory and EKG technician.
I am now retired and writing a new chapter in my life; literally! I hope you enjoy my poems. I hope they bring you laughter and courage, leaving you cultivated, wise, and ready to fight head-on with all life has in store.lihat lebih sedikit
