As a survivor of childhood trauma, she found she struggled to express herself. She discovered art as both a way to open up and as a way to heal. Art became a way to express what she could not say verbally. Through therapy, coaching and Art, she was able to begin to heal, and resist the siren call of depression, although it is all still a work in progress.
