I am a mother of three children and was always a great cook. My sons and daughter loved my cooking even when they are all grown-up now. I am retired now and always wanted to write this soul food cookbook. I never had a chance when I was working. Now is my time to get down. My daughter gave me a manual for recipes, so I did. I have always had it in my mind to write this book. These recipes are very dear to my heart. I enjoy cooking for large group of family members and my friends. They have always enjoyed my cooking, and now I have finally written this book because these recipes are the natural root of soul food cooking. This book would be very helpful to people who have never cooked a soul food dish before. They will just love every recipe. I now they will.
