I grew up in Lisbon, a small town in rural North Dakota, and I still own and summer at the Larimore Mansion, a restored five-story Victorian home near the Red River. I was a registered nurse and practiced nursing in Fargo, North Dakota, for over ten years before going to law school. My focus in the law has been primarily regulatory/administrative law. In my practice, I represented several New Mexico state agencies, with my favorite client being the New Mexico Board of Veterinary Medicine.
