Also in 2012, my essay titled 'Lift Off' won the Bailey Prize for prose. Lift Off is in the 2012 edition of The Chrysalis Reader, a story of my return to Ohio to care for my dying father. Other publication credits and works in progress are listed on my website. www.byronedgington.com.I'm married to my best friend, Mariah, who happens to be my best editor, too. We have three daughters, and five grandkids. My writing centers on a life in the sky, the place I made my living, and where I found serenity, safety and spiritual fulfillment.
