She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Principia College. She began her career in New York City as a marketing assistant. She was a school teacher for fifteen years. She has two grown sons and two grandsons. Part of her heritage is from Latvia and Lithuania. Escape from the Czar is the second edition of her first novella, Keeping One Branch Green. She plans to publish her first full length novel, Baltic to Brooklyn Bound in the near future. She lives in Central Florida.
