And that’s what happened to me. I moved away from my home thinking I can make a better life for myself, but that blew up in my face in the worst way. Literally. So, I packed up my bags and left. But another thing I learned is my luck is just crap. Utter crap. It’s non-existent. Some may think I’m exaggerating, but really, I’m not. What are the odds that I stumble upon my brother’s best friend’s kid lost on my family’s property? Pretty high apparently because that’s exactly what happens. The same friend that I had a crush on all through my childhood. The very same friend that was part of the reason for me leaving.
