Lavonne has combined many of the recipes she created to use in her catering business and what she taught on her YouTube channel (Lavonne’s Kitchen).
Lavonne’s recipes were created in the actual kitchens of the last three homes she lived in. One of her homes was large enough to have two kitchens, one upstairs and one downstairs. When remodeling the lower level of her home she created a kitchen with her vision of the foods she would cook in it. Because it was so large, she and her employees used that kitchen to cook for her catering events. Many of her Catering customers, Facebook friends, YouTube subscribers often asked her to open a restaurant and write a cookbook. Due to family emergency Lavonne had to close her company of ten years and retire. Unable to open a restaurant she decided to give them a piece of herself by putting her recipes in a cookbook.
Although she had a Bachelor of Science degree in counseling psychology, her passion was in cooking. Having a nationally known catering company was a great achievement to her. Since family has always been very important to her, having her three children and one of her grandchildren work with her in her company and teaching them all to cook was one of her greatest accomplishments. She even had her four-year-old grandson Cameron cook on her YouTube channel.
Cruising is her all-time favorite vacation. She loved eating all the different types of foods on the ships prepared by many famous chefs of different cultures.
Through it all, she is first and foremost a Christian woman. She tells everyone she could not have done any of this without the help of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.lihat lebih sedikit
