She received her BA degree from the University of Iowa, majoring in Speech Pathology and her MS degree from Drake University, majoring in Guidance and Counseling. Now retired, her career in Speech Pathology was joyfully employed in schools, rehabilitation agencies, hospitals, and private practice. She has provided direct therapy services for ages 0-90; delivered inservices for peers, staff, and parents; and assisted in writing grants, brochures, and therapy materials.
